Summer Scholars

The World Affairs Council of the Mid-Hudson Valley supports the Dutchess BOCES Jay P. Rolison Jr. Summer Scholars Program

The Summer Scholars Program is a two week residential program for students attending high schools in Dutchess County. It is highly selective and invites high school applicants currently in 10th and 11th grade who  have demonstrated high academic achievement, intellectual potential and creativity as evidenced in their applications. The program is designed to challenge high school students in multidisciplinary projects. Course topics have included: “1968”  “The 1960s” “The Kennedys: An American Family,” and “Cybertalk in the 21st Century: Truth in a World of Alternative Facts.” Full information about the program and how to apply can be found on the BOCES site.
