Academic WorldQuest
An annual knowledge-based team competition with questions focusing on
international affairs, current events, the global economy, geography, world
history, general knowledge about the world, and more. This year's regional competition
was held on December 15, 2007 at the Henry A. Wallace Visitors and Education Center of the
Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library in Hyde Park, NY for area high
schools. The first place winner, our 1st place winner, Roy C. Ketcham High
School, will attend a national competition over the weekend of
April 4,5 & 6, 2008 in Washington, DC. Congratulations to Roy C. Ketcham HS,
our 2nd place winner, Oakwood Fiends School, our 3rd place winner Spackenkill
High School and the Roosevelt Round winner, Kingston High School as well as to
all our competitors.
