Mr. Flavin President, Worldwatch Institute, discussed how the major powers, particularly China, India and the US are consuming energy and other resources at an unsustainable rate.

REMARKS BY Dr. Richard Haass: "America’s Opportunity to Change History"

Conflict between the great powers is not the principal dynamic in the world today. The challenges facing us are global and include: terrorism, WMD, viruses, climate change, etc. This represents an opportunity to avoid conflicts between major powers permanently. Dr. Richard Haass IS President of the Council on Foreign Relations.
